@ Special Collections Reading Room at NUI Galway

I have the huge privilege to learn from the Tim Robinson's archives (excellent cartographer, artist, writer) stored at the University of Galway and one of the reasons why I am here.

These maps, field notes, drawings, texts about the West Coast of Ireland are absolutely amazing! So human, honest, transparent, imaginative, all at once. I am so fascinated with the detailed and complex observations of the place (from geological to human times) and all those emotions he felt when he was mapping; all together makes my reading a great adventure.
