The group of the youngest kids of the village went in an artistic expedition today. Our aim was trying to locate ourselves in time (now) and space (here) by exploring our surrounding nature. Starting from our senses and expanding them with rudimentary tools and our technology we looked at different ways of feeling, observe and discover. We looked for underground water with dowsing rods, as the lack of water is the main concern of the area.
We continued looking at the "invisible", we collected some materials, drew encounters and searched for stories to document our journey.
To finalise this journey we made our collective "underground water" map creating a parallelism between us and rivers.
This is the beginning of a creative map to re-discover the local environment and climate.
