Workshop at Global Network of Water Museums Unesco-IHP

I am very pleased to announce that I will be taking part in this Water Museums Global Network collective space. As one of this year's S+T+ARTS AQUA MOTION artists, I will be in conversation with other artists, discussing and sharing insights on the project 'O Fio da Água: Embracing Water's Flow for Resilient Futures'.

This event takes place at Palazzo Zorzi (UNESCO Office in Venice) during the La Biennale di Venezia, applications are now open!

On 18 September 2026, WAMU+NET will host a dedicated Workshop Day at Palazzo Zorzi, UNESCO Office in Venice, in the framework of the S+T+ARTS AQUA MOTION project, co-funded by the European Union.

 Two sessions, one day.

Workshop 1 — Converging Currents: Art-Science Collaborations for Water Sustainability
9:30–13:00

A working session exploring how artistic practice and scientific research can inform and challenge each other in addressing water challenges. AQUA MOTION artists lead intimate table discussions on their work, creating a conversational and hands-on setting where participants - students, researchers, educators, practitioners and curious minds - can engage directly with the artists and with each other.

Workshop 2 — Flowing Imaginaries: Eco-Art Practices in Times of Water and Environmental Crisis
15:00–17:30

An open public event exploring eco-art as a field at the intersection of art, environment and society - its history, its geographic diversity, and its role in addressing the environmental crisis. Senior curators, including Stefano Cagol (Curator of the Nauru National Pavilion at the 61st Venice Biennale), Mara Sartore will open with a provocation, followed by table discussions facilitated by professionals from around the world.

Both workshops will be held in English. Places are limited.
