During this weekend, I went to meet the "Viadrinicum family". This summer school at Viadrina University has been running for a good number of years and I have been lucky to lead two workshops there. "Viadrinicum is an annual summer school at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder), devoted to the countries of the Eastern Partnership, and the larger context of Central and Eastern Europe. Its 2023 edition will revolve around the multifaceted question, how cities learn, and will look into the entanglements of urban learning and dwelling practices." During this weekend, this year edition had the final presentations to show the outcomes of the different labs in Frankfurt Oder (Germany). Thanks to all for the warm welcoming! Here I would like to share the two workshops I led for Viadrinicum in the past years:
Back in 2017, the "Border Art Workshop". Viadrina University is located in the border of Germany and Poland. As result of this workshop the project "The Oder Island" was created collectively. You can find more information in the following link: theoderisland.wordpress.com/ And in 2023, I led the "Socially Engaged Art Lab" with the following resultant collaborative project "The OD/thER border creep" Here the website: https://theodtherbordercreep.wordpress.com/ More updates about the final results and further outcomes will be uploaded soon!
